Mark Dhinesh Muthiah is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Medicine at the National University of Singapore and Medical Director & Senior Consultant of the Adult Liver Transplantation Programme at National University Hospital. He obtained his MBBS in Singapore, followed by M.Med (Internal Medicine), MRCP (UK), FRCP, FAMS, and a PhD in Medicine.

His research focuses on hepatology, liver transplantation, MASLD/MASH, cirrhosis, transplant outcomes, and cardio-metabolic complications. His translational research includes lipidomics, metabolomics, and bile acid biology. He has published more than 240 peer-reviewed manuscripts and secured significant competitive research funding. He has also received several international awards, including the International Liver Transplant Society REAL Award.
