Rachel Wen-Juei Jeng, MD, PhD, is a hepatologist and physician-scientist at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Linkou, Taiwan, and a Professor at Chang Gung University. Her research focuses on chronic hepatitis B, particularly finite antiviral therapy, immune responses during hepatitis flares, and strategies to achieve functional cure. She also serves as Deputy Director of the Clinical Trial Center and Associate Editor of the Journal of Hepatology.
