Shuichiro Shiina, M.D., Ph.D., is a gastroenterologist and interventional oncologist specializing in image-guided ablation for liver tumors. He is President of the Japan Academy of Tumor Ablation (JATA) and served as President of APASL 2024 Kyoto. He has extensive experience in radiofrequency and microwave ablation for hepatocellular carcinoma and metastatic liver tumors.
