Travel Grants Available

Eligibility Statement

Submit an abstract to APASL 2027 and, if your abstract is accepted for oral or poster presentation, you may be eligible for an APASL 2027 Travel Grant. Priority categories and funding allocations will be determined by the APASL 2027 Steering Committee, taking into consideration applicant circumstances and available funding.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Submit an abstract to APASL 2027.

  • Have your abstract accepted for presentation as either an Oral Presentation or a Poster Presentation.

  • Register for and attend APASL 2027.

Travel Grants are open to all eligible applicants. As funding is limited, applications will be assessed competitively.

Prioritisation Criteria

In awarding Travel Grants, consideration will be given to:

  • Student and trainee status.

  • Country income classification.

  • Career stage.

  • Equity and access considerations.

  • Demonstrated need for travel support.

AUSTRALIAN applications close at 11:59 PM AEST on Friday, 30 October 2026.

FAQ

  • You can apply for a travel grant without the abstract decision is announced. You only need to submit and quote the abstract ID.

  • Once you have submitted your abstract to Currinda, you can find your abstract ID at any time by selecting “View Submission” and then “Edit/Preview Abstract”. It will then show the abstract ID beside the abstract title.

    Your abstract submission fee order number is NOT your abstract ID.

  • You will be emailed if you are successful or unsuccessful. Please remain patient as the committee review all applications.

  • All travel grants will be processed after the conference.

  • This information is not yet available. This will depend on the volume and quality of applications. If your application is successful, you will be notified of the full value of the grant.

  • Once you have submitted your travel grant application, you cannot change it. Please ensure all information is accurate before submitting.
